I Heart Them

I’ve been living without internet connection for 2 nights with the Sister. Blame her college for not being able to receive the campus wifi! However, in a way, it’s good like that because it allowed me some time to compile all the pictures that I have yet posted on this blog.

I have sooo many things to tell, so many pictures to upload, I think I need to prepare a list of things that I am supposed to post after this, just to make sure that I don’t get confused. Let’s see what I owe this blog:

• Chill out sessions with the AUG volunteers.
• of home and crazy things I did with the siblings.
• Christmas at kampung.
• Photoshoot with the friends.
• New year’s eve BBQ.
• and not to forget, a tag from Emmy.

Alright, since I had the ones from the photoshoot compiled, I’m just gonna KIV the rest and go ahead with #4 from the list mkay.

It all started off when Alvin came to meet us at Al-Fresco for some booze, he brought along his newly bought Canon DSLR camera. Sweet. He then told us that he’s still very new at handling the camera and still has a lot to learn. Then suddenly one of us, either Jo Joji Ayu Ambas or me, suggested to have a so-called photoshoot the next day and at the same time, it will be a great opportunity for Alvin to sharpen off his camera skills.

Alasan. Let me put it this way instead; all of us love to be in photos while Alvin loves taking photos. What better way to spend time and have a little bit of fun under the sun other than a photoshoot. Right?

There were all together about 500 photos. Die la. We were all super super vain. Of course I am not going to upload all 500 photos here, just a few that I like.

The first few photos. We were actually waiting for the other group from the other side of Miri to arrive. The sun was beautiful, it was 8.30 am in the morning. Thanks to Alvin for the cowboy hats and Nike cap.

The hat, the sun glass, the dress and the guitar are all wrongly matched, however I love the irony of this picture. I look like some chick who doesn’t know how to strum a guitar but no, you’re wrong.That’s a G note ok! A bloody G.

Oh and I like the way Mai looks at my direction in the picture.

These, are the girls who came for the photoshoot. It turns out to be a garden photoshoot instead.

Ok, this pose is so random. Alvin told me to bring a scarf in case we need that as a prop but none of the other friends used it though. So, I told Alvin to shoot this and make me look like some datin/rich lady wtf. He did, I just lack the gold bling-blings. At least I put the scarf to good use.

We portray 2 different people with different personalities and yet are close friends. In fact, we’ve been close since 13! Jo’s the sweet and nice one, while, me? The naughty one.

The hands picture. Alvin said this would be a good picture for a front page or a cover of an album, and yes he is right. This is the album cover of the sets of photos in facebook. Don’t forget to check it out, if you are my friend lah.

Ok lah, I lied. It’s not candid. It’s in fact made to look like a candid shot. Pfft. We were walking towards the car when Ambas told us, “Ok people, candid picture!” and we actually slowed down and posed.

After lunch, we visited the Japanese monument in our old secondary school. It’s now a restricted area, owned by the government, not as public as it used to be when we were in school. There used to be some Japanese writings on the stone but don’t know what happened to it now, either it’s washed down by the rain or taken off.

And there were so many mosquitoes. Kawasan belukar, that’s why. And Mayuki ended up having red spots of mosquito bites all over her, thanks to the sleeveless tee.

Oh, and this is the road leading straight to the main gate of our school. Nice? Our school is located on top of a cliff, next to the beach.
