The After Effects of AUG

Ahhh~ Say hello to the long overdue post on AUG. The event was way over aeons ago, (no lah it just ended at the end of December, saja metafora hiperbola) but the after effects stayed on me for quite a long time.

It clings on my skin, it’s very hard to let it go. No, not the sunburn. I am talking about the new friends I made in AUG. Eventhough our encounter was brief, as in 2 weeks, but it was enough to build a platform for a newly formed friendship.

And I actually like these people. We had fun working together though at times there are some disagreements but in the end those disagreements are the things that made us understand each other even more. It made me understand the way they think, act, talk and mix around with people. It was a great time. Indeed.

We had fun working during the event itself, we also had fun outside of the event. We went for a karaoke session together. All, still looking so burnt from the sun.

Unfortunately, not all could come to the karaoke session. Chew was not there, I am not sure what she was up to that night though. Regardless of that, we had fun.

Some lost their voice the next morning.

Some has very nice voice while some is just too horrible terrible vegetable. It was good humor indeed.

Laughing all night long, doing silly stuff, singing stupid songs.

On the last day of the event, one of the event’s committee member rewarded us with free meals at..jeng jeng..KFC.

But that was then la.

Now, please boikot semua US companies. They’re doing nothing but supporting war and giving money for war. Grr. I hate war. I hate the effects of war; death, injury, heartbreaks, frustrations, sadness.

Ahem.

I am still keeping in touch with these people but we don’t see each other as often as we used to during the event days. Eventhough that is the case, the memory lasts a life long.
