I will only be home for about a week (or 2 weeks if the Company has other plans for me), so the weekend after I landed in Miri, I quickly rushed to the opportunity of meeting some of my closest friends for dinner. I suggested Citrus Cafe & Restaurant.

My sister have been there a couple of times but everytime they went, they always lupak about me!
Like the other day she went with her campus friends and forgot to bring me along..Or the day she went with Ketut, Gamut and Gamut’s brother without telling me. *sobs. Emo at the corner.
ANYWAY.
I went there with my friends on Saturday night.
Before dinner.

Mayuki’s Seafood Breadbowl.

Which was humongous! The thing about this was, when we looked at the picture in the menu, we thought it was going to be a small portion of soup. But when the waiter sent it to our table, punya la everyone terkejut upon seeing how big it really was.
Especially Mayuki, since she was the one who ordered this.
Donny’s Mushroom Fiesta.

Joji’s Linguine Carbonara.

My Baked MacBeef.

I actually tried preparing this at home the day after and I’m happy to say the siblings loved it. *big smile until my eyes hilang*
Love this picture of the restaurant’s name. But I looked horribly ugly here so I brilliantly covered myself up with a photoshop brush. Hoho.

Our dessert, Citrus Chocolate Fondue.

Our impatient hands, dipping marshmallows into the chocolate. Yumm yumm~

After dinner. Those are happy faces of 5 hungry people finally stuffed with food.

After dinner, we decided to check out the Rave Party that was supposed to be held in Esplanade that night.
But when we arrived, we were greeted by silence.
*krik krik krik krik krik krik*
(bunyi cengkerik)
Hey, kata ada Rave Party..Apa ni, tak ada apa-apa pun?
We don’t know what happened that night that had caused the party to be canceled but when we arrived, we noticed a few cars parked at the lot with the respective drivers inside. They looked as confused as us too because all of us were expecting a large crowd, booming sounds from the stereos and DJs doing their thangs. Definitely didn’t expect to be greeted with sounds of cicadas.
But it’s ok. As long as them friends are there, I’m content and happy that I get to spend some time with them. Bey, Shan and Koni joined us later that night.

We went for a karaoke session right after.

That was my first time ever going for a karaoke session in Miri. Seriously. I have been living here almost my entire life and I am kinda embarrassed to say I’ve never been to a karaoke lounge/room/place in my own hometown until recently.

Indeed, we had fun among ourselves. With or without a Rave Party. Hope to see you guys again this weekend!
